It is hard to believe another player will come into the conference as ready to contribute as Paul Harris. The 6'4 bull of a G/F plays the game hard all the time and does everything a team needs to get the W. Harris will defend as hard as anyone and can dominate a game with his defense, passing and rebounding. That is an impressive trait for such a high profile recruit, quite honestly, he does not have to score to make his mark on a game and he does not have trouble finding ways to score. He will be a demon in transition using a strong, NBA-ready body and upper-level athletic ability to get out and score and finish on the break. He is one of those players that has a tremendous will to win and the ability to do a little bit of everything to make it happen. Improving his perimeter jump shot will be his long-term goal in order to make himself even better.

Harris in complimented in the class by South Carolina WF Mike Jones and Canadian big man Devin Brennan-McBride. Jones is another his calibre athlete that is long and lean and can score in a variety of ways. At 6'7, he brings the ideal attributes to the Syracuse system. Brennan-McBride is not as well known as most of the other recruits in the conference, but is a skilled 6'9 player that will need to get "tougher" for the Big East, but he has the phsycial tools to make it happen.

Losing just one senior in Gerry McNamara, these Orange recruits will be able to hit the line-up at their own pace. With Nichols, Devendorf, McCorskey and Wright in the mix ahead of Harris, he could still get close to 30 minutes a game coming off the bench to compliment each player at all 3 perimeter positions. Harris' unselfish nature could make it an ideal situation and set him up to be the man on the wing as a sophomore.
